My name is Alexander and I would like to welcome you to my blog. Bear with me, i'll try and stay as brief as possible.
I am 21 years old, I have spent the better half of my young life obsessing over all things "cool". L.A. is where I reside, and GOD do I love it! Currently, I am working freelance with large clothing companies, designing graphics and sketching/illustrating my designs of men's and women's contemporary ready-to-wear. My family owns a successful vintage/consignment store on the outskirts of L.A. I have loved fashion for as long as I can remember. When I was a little kid my dad used to take me to Fred Segal on melrose and deck me out in the flyest kids clothes a dapper 7 year old could handle (or as I recall back then as "get this stuff off of me!"). He'd gallivant me around Beverly Hills so that we could mingle with the salesgirls at Neimans, we would never leave without a bag full of caramel filled chocolate bears. It was awesome.
Ever since - I've continued to be exposed to fashion. For the past ...god knows how long... I have spent a countless amount of time exposing myself to EVERYTHING fashion related. Whether it be through blogs, pop-culture, online shopping sites, boutiques, etc, etc.. I have seen it all! I am on the streets everyday with eyes wide open-absorbing everything. I am shopping and visiting all the major stores, I am constantly researching new trends and being on the constant lookout for the stuff that I think is amazing.
This blog is intended to bring you all things fashion, art, & music related. There are so many wonderful blogs that center around fashion, but I have noticed they cater to mostly one audience (wether it be men, women, hip hop, shoes, etc.)
This blog will bring EVERYTHING to one place. I intend to showcase trendy and upcoming boutiques throughout the greater Los Angeles area.Bring you news on sales, etc. I will have weekly spotlights where I interview people in the industry and those who just love the industry. Variety is key on my blog, So don't expect anything other then the unexpected! I intend to update this blog on a daily basis. Feel free to comment and send in anything you think we should know about!
